Lightning in a Bottle - Looking for Workshops

Hi y'all,
I am the workshop coordinator for Lightning in a Bottle, a 3 day festival in Santa Barbara May 11-13. I am looking for someone who might be interested and knowledgable in teaching a workshop on greening the home. The Do Lab is moving in the direction of being a green company and are committed to expanding our knowledge base and presenting information for our atttendees as well. If you are interested in teaching a workshop in exchange for a ticket, please email me at marsi@thedolab.com. Additionally, if there is some other conservation/green/sustainability related topic that you would rather cover, I would love to hear about it.

Blessings,
Marsi

any interest in an independent Cascadia?

curious if anyone is interested in creating a independent bioregional Cascadia (the Redwoods .. Northern California down to the Bay Area are considered within the bioregion of Cascadia)? Specifically looking for artists and organizers right now. Anyone interested then contact me... artist or not ... organizer or not

I'm going to be moving from Santa Barbara to Arcata around the 25th of June, give or take a few days. It would be really nice to connect with some new people and possibly get plugged into some already pre-existing communities so as to make new friends. Check out my profile and if you think we're compatible hit me up. If you want to know more about me I also have a myspace profile page, just search for me by my email address englishorama@gmail.com. My myspace profile name is pinko. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

WikiGreen

On the Internet there are many sites about green living, especially about sustainable communities. However these sites deal more with the legal, social and spiritual aspects of such. As a source for the agricultural, energetic, technical and constructional knowledge of green living and organizing sustainable communities, a small group has put together a Wiki site dedicated to these subjects. Why a Wiki? Because this type of site needs constant input from people involved day by day with green living and sustainable communities

Therefore, we cordially invite those interested in reading information as well as in contributing information of this nature to examine our new Wiki at WikiGreen.org This site covers the temperate zone and the tropics, in any country on Earth including Costa Rica. It contains a great mass of information both recent and from over a century ago. If every person who reads over what we have so far does nor learn something useful, we will consider ourselves a failure. But we didn't fail!

If you know how to enter things into a Wiki, fine. If you want to learn, fine. If you want to just send us a little article and we do the work of putting it up, well fine too. There are many out there with personal experience in many areas, from black smithing to Swedish embroidery. If we all give a little information, we are helping sustainable communities and those living green the world over. Give us a look. Take out what you need; put in what you can.
